Amethyst Caves

Generates between Limestone Grotto and Frozen Caves, is a spherical endless cave with tons of amethyst, amethyst crystals, basalt, smooth basalt, and calcite. Amethyst Caves contain a special Amethyst Crystal that can be obtained by mining an Amethyst Cluster, drops 10% of the time. It is recommended to farm these crystals by growing them from budding amethyst, located at amethyst features in basalt regions of the biome.

Structures

Amethyst Caves contain 6 structures, 2 of which are specific to the biome. The first one is the Amethyst Geode, which is a geode-like structure with two barrels, which can contain enchanted books, enchanted golden apples and magic repairs. Incredibly useful loot which can repair your armor. The other structure is the Amethyst Altar, it is possible to right click the crystal to teleport to the surface relative to the altar, useful for getting out of Infinity Cave. The other structures are trial spawners.
